Rebates are meant to save you money. Often times they’re more hassle than they’re worth.
You seal your envelope, making sure you have EVERY little detail correct.
You even made sure to circle the items on your sales receipt!
You can’t lose!!!!! $100 back is YOURS!
Then after months and months of waiting, you get a “Sorry but some of the information you provided was incorrect, therefore we can not process your rebate” letter.
WTF?
Rebate programs need work. Perhaps more companies should switch to processing rebates digitally.

Yeah, I usually try to bypass anything outside of an “instant” rebate for this very reason. I’d rather pay and extra $50 for something instead of gambling on a $100 mail-in rebate. What was the latest item you got stiffed on?
Yeah instant rebates are definitely where it’s at!
I bought 4 Sandisk Memory Cards, which were pretty expensive, and was supposed to receive more than half my money back. After a month of waiting, I got a letter saying I forgot some information. I know for a FACT all the information was correct! I even called and they gave me the run around. Suffice to say, I got screwed!
They still make great cards though!
